Administering Authority Decision

Under current LGPS regulations there are 45 occasions where the Administering Authority (the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead) has discretion as to how the regulations should be applied and is therefore required to take decisions or make policies so as to be consistent in their adopted approach.

A paper setting out all of the aforementioned regulations was presented to members of the Berkshire Pension Fund and Berkshire Pension Fund Advisory Panels. This policy document highlights the discretions available under the regulations and how the Administering Authority has determined that those discretions should be applied for the purpose of governing and administering the LGPS in Berkshire.
